Here are my photos of what is blooming in the yard tonight.  All the rain has made the weeds run riot, and I’ve been too lazy in the heat to do much about it.  My yard tends to have that overgrown “wild” look most of the time anyway.  I don’t use a lawn service like most of my neighbors do so dandelions, buttercups and morning glories run riot and tend to strangle the other plants.  I’d rather see that and keep my wildlife friends – the squirrels, the birds, the raccoon, the skunk, the ducks and the bunnies.  All are welcome here.

I am not sure what this golden flower is.  It was in the wildflower mix with the bachelors buttons.  I tossed the packet of seeds into the garden last season and forgot about them.
