To Weight Watchers tonight I returned
To relearn how those calories burned
Egads! Somehow I have gained five pounds!
It just happens so fast it astounds!
My poor knees they have begun aching
All those bad habits will need breaking
Weekly meetings the first step for me
The support and suggestions are key
Daily exercise like a small walk
Will help stop this negative self-talk
Getting more sleep would also assist
Curb cravings I can’t seem to resist
I eat when bored, I eat when I’m tired
I eat more than is good or desired
I need to get fit and have less stress
Time for change and way out of this mess
