Beautiful! My kids fully expect snow. We’ve had it every year since they were born so they think it’s normal! (it’s not, growing up I can recall two winters when we had proper snow).
We used to get more when I was little (maybe it’s perspective, and it just seems like it was more), but I remember huge drifts and piles of snow every year.
We basically had no snow when I was a kid. I even remember doing it in probability in maths as in ‘the probability of a white christmas in london is very very low’ – we had the first ‘proper’ white christmas I can recall last year but we’ve had weeks of snow each year since lyra and ellie were born. Nothing like what you get / got though I’m sure!
We got some in Detoit too!

Oh my. I’m still in shorts and flip-flops. The snow is pretty though. I kind of miss being snugged up indoors on a cold night.

I could deal with shorts and flip flops right now. I walked at lunchtime and the wind chill was 20 degrees.
