10:40 p.m., and I’m in bed. This is early for me. We’re passing around some sort of nausea-headache-stomach-issues bug at work. Six people in my department, and three of us have it. I was home sick with it Monday, too out of it to stay caught up with what I wanted to stay caught up with.
I have approximately 160 emails waiting to be read. I wanted to take the time to compose a poem or something witty for a blog post, but that’s all going to have to wait. Nausea reigns supreme at the moment. It’s time to rest.
I feel green, and I don’t like feeling that way. I see my doctor for a regular blood pressure follow up on Thursday. I suspect I’ll feel worse after I see her. I’ve already seen the results of my lab work. My cholesterol and my A1C (blood sugar) are both up. I see exercise and a stricter diet in my future. Sigh. Why can’t cake be good for you? It tastes so much better than salad.
On a positive note, in just over a month hubby and I go to see another concert! This time we’ll see Keith Urban in Youngstown, Ohio (a four hour drive from here). We’ll stay over a couple of nights for an anniversary outing (27 years). I can’t wait. I always enjoy our anniversary get away trips.
