We have had a couple of smaller ones out there. My son thinks they’re babies but it’s hard to tell. They’re not tiny, just a bit smaller than the others.
We have some odd colored ones. Very red all over or gray with red tails. We have two grays with black chests. They’re all pretty sleek and glossy. Must be all those peanuts and sunflower seeds someone keeps feeding them.
Nice photos. I’m a sucker for sunsets and furry friends. I’ve never seen a squirrel in real life, we don’t have them in Australia. Our nearest would be koalas but they’re not as common, or possums which are huge mothers and growl like something from the black lagoon! 😉
Nice Photos, I love squirrels, I have a squirrel story I may blog about someday…

Nice! I see you had a momma squirrel this year. Did you get to see the babies?

Cute squirrels! Mine don’t have much of a brownish tint to them, so it’s nice to see different shades of sciurine!

Sadly those aren’t in my yard. I wish they were. Those were planted downtown and I photographed them while on a walk.

Thank you. We have possums, but they’re nocturnal and not as cute as the squirrels.
