I love my tattoos. The first one (at age 50) was my heron on my right ankle. My second one (at 53) was the Aquarius glyph/waves on my left forearm. This year (57) I added the song lyrics on my right forearm and the anchor on my left ankle.
Thank you. That was all the tattoo artist’s idea. He suggested color, and he was going for an old-fashioned look. That one took the longest to heal. My cat scratching my leg (right through the healing wound) didn’t help. I also had a bit of a reaction to the red and the yellow. It was red and itchy for weeks. It’s worth it now, but for a while I wasn’t sure.
Very nice! I especially like the anchor because it is so colourful.

Thanks. I always wanted one; it took turning 50 to give me the courage to do it.

Hmmm… could a squirrel be next?

LOL. I’ve thought about it. It would take the right artist to do it. Real squirrels are so cute, and I’ve seen some really bad ink.
