Donna Reads: Rock Addiction (Rock Kiss Series #1) by Nalini Singh

The Blurb: Molly Webster has always followed the rules. After an ugly scandal tore apart her childhood and made her the focus of the media’s harsh spotlight, she vowed to live an ordinary life. No fame. No impropriety. No pain. Then she meets Zachary Fox, a tattooed bad boy rocker with a voice like whiskey and sin, and a touch that could become an addiction.

She sees him at a party. Her sister is in charge of PR for the band. She doesn’t think he even noticed her. He decides the moment that he sees her that she will be his. He was only supposed to be a one night stand, her one chance to break out from her calm, ordinary existence, but Fox had other ideas for Molly.

I enjoyed this. Molly overcomes a horrible scandal and tragedy. To be with Fox, she has to face similar notoriety, scandal, and stress. I liked that Molly grew over the course of the book. She found strength she didn’t know she had. I liked Fox from the start. He also has his demons to face. He deals with anger issues from being abandoned as a child by his mother. Together he and Molly made a good team, finding that they could rely on each other and that together they were stronger than they were apart.
