He is not a lap cat, but he’s usually on my bed whether I’m there or not. He wakes me up by lying on my arm or putting his head on my shoulder, purring all the way.
What a lovely soul 🙂 My cat was never much of a lap cat until he hit about 9 years old…now he can’t wait for snuggle time to sit on Mommy’s lap 🙂
Yep, he’s my buddy. He’s my son’s cat, but we bonded and got close when I had to tube-feed him last January. He stopped eating for 10 days when he got a cat headcold. The vet worried his body was going to shut down so I spent a thousand dollars on a horrible surgery and spent a miserable three days nursing him back to health, feeding him a liquified diet through a tube. When he started eating on his own, I had the vet remove the nightmare of the tube. He’s been my guy ever since. I think he knew how hard I fought to keep him alive. Worst experience ever, but he’s well and beautiful now.
