4D83C326-E214-4B62-BCC0-B1C70263780EHere I am today after my shower and shampoo; no makeup and I’m wearing my new designer nightwear. Faded Hospital Rags. Classy, huh? The baby shampoo they gave me wasn’t bad; it was better than the body wash/shampoo combo I used the other day. My hair misses my curly hair shampoo, conditioner and styling products. It looks like a tumbleweed (or cotton candy!) after it dries.

The Hospital GI doctor was here again after lunch. They want me to have enough days on the IV antibiotics to really “squash this”. She asked what oral antibiotics I can tolerate. Now she’s going to go research what I could go home with. She said tonight’s day five on the IV. They will switch me to oral meds here and they want to monitor me to see how I tolerate them. After I’m on them for a day, I can go home.

I can see a real faint light at the end of the tunnel!

Get well soon. Oh, I actually use Johnson’s Baby Shampoo. If it’s good for the baby, it’s good for you, as well.

  2. So sorry you are in the hospital, Donna. I didn’t know. Between being hit by Irma and my internet going down I had no idea. I am glad you are on the mend and pray for a speedy recovery. Hugs.

Sounds like you will be going home soon, and the tummy is behaving itself. Long may it (and you) continue!
